Jerry Butch

The tenant building I own was experiencing some drainage problems and I figured it was as a result of poor waterproofing systems, as well as faulty plumbing by the originally hired construction workers. I called in the Park Lane Ground Work and they had it fixed in no time! Now, my tenants and I are happy!

I was getting into the real estate business a few years back and was looking for a professional company to fulfill my waterproofing needs. Luckily, I stumbled on to Park Lane Ground Work as what they did has worked for the past 4 years with no glitches at all. They have  and they will continue to work just fine. Glad I got them to do my buildings!

The plumbing in the hotel that I bought a few years back was disastrous and I was not sure where to look but I luckily stumbled on to Park Lane Ground Work. Their team redid the whole plumbing as well as waterproofing system and even my customers compliment me how great they are! Thanks a bunch Park Lane!

London Property And Homes Update

To be able to live in the beautiful city of London in the UK, you will discover that the headline news: London House Prices Getting Unaffordable, is very true. In fact the consumer’s capacity today to buy a home in this city stands at 77 percent worse than a mere five years ago. This bustling city however actually stands in contrast to the rest of the UK where affordability has even improved by two percent over the same period.

Exciting accessories mean exciting prices

When it comes to home improvements, London Home Owners Opt for Wooden Shutters for their homes because they have discovered that this very attractive feature adds value, security and attractiveness to their homes; therefore shutters have gained rather a substantial following for these good reasons. Not only are they also versatile and beautiful, but they are available in so many exciting styles and colours. They are made to order to fit perfectly in any home, adding character and warmth by providing control over the warmth, privacy and light. Roofing USA explains that wooden shutters allow the cool breezes in the summer months to come in and in the winter months, they keep the breezes at bay. Wooden shuttering for London properties and homes are proving to contribute to the value when it comes to owning and renting.

Today, many people are considering whether London is the city to move to; Is the Rest of The UK Catching up with London?? Estate agents in the UK have predicted that from 2015, most regions outside of London and also the South East of England will definitely catch up with property price growth. In fact, the National Association of Estate Agents in the UK (NAEA) have also predicted that 2015 will see slower growth when it comes to prices, especially now that stamp duty reforms are in place. This means agents can hope for a bigger supply in the market because people are encouraged to sell and buy homes.

The future unfolding

So then, what lies in store for the London property and home market for the years to come? There are Big Ideas for The Capital London Regeneration.  It is predicted that most buyers of homes will head South and East where most of the new homes are being built and which cost about two-thirds of the cost of homes found in north and west London. We are going to see kind of rental villages for the high-tech computer and Facebook generation aged between 20 to 35 who will opt to rent. Being unable to own homes, these young Londoners will search for good quality but fairly priced accommodation from trustworthy landlords. This means today’s developers are turning their focus on building renting villages, taking advantage of the 10-billion pounds government funding. Renters will soar by 25% over the next five years and home ownership will drop to around 59%. People will choose to relocate around tube stations and trains and therefore regeneration will take place in areas such as Whitechapel, Wembley, Archway, Stratford, and others.

Regeneration will bring positive changes

In London, the housing charity known as Peabody, and which was founded in 1862 is building homes for sale; they are building a type of garden city consisting of seven thousand properties in the troubled area of Thamesmead. Suddenly the future looks much brighter for squeezed middle-class earners. Some developers are also looking to regenerate by developing more affordable houses. They are buying up small sites that other developers pass over and are constructing high density compact flats that are 20% cheaper than what the local prices are.

Also on the cards for the near future is what is known as intermediate housing; for those who can’t afford to buy and yet whose income is too high for them to get housing benefits, making them reliant on private landlords. Regeneration means greener homes because new homes are much more energy efficient than the older homes and therefore have much lower running costs.

On track for the future

Crossrail is a huge transport infrastructure; set to open in 2018; one of the most vital and highly significant projects ever to be undertaken in the UK. Not only will it improve journey times, but it will ease congestion. This major regenerating project will literally change the way people will travel around London.

Approximately 200-million passengers will use Crossrail every year, and in peak times, main line trains will carry more than 1500 passengers per train. Crossrail will literally turn many areas in and around London into very serious commuter zones.

Big ideas are bringing big changes for the capital, London, regenerating it, changing it, which means that the property and housing market is set to make London a very sought after and attractive international destination.
